But, and this is most important thing, MotorStorm: Apocalypse is exciting and thrilling and awesomely fun from the moment you start playing. A little bit chaotic, maybe; but as the track design is so brilliant, we can forgive the flaws of the engine. The story-based campaign mode can feel limiting and immature at times but, once you get out on the track, the sheer amount of action taking place at any given moment generally makes up for up. The obviously deIiberate digital comic appróach feels cheap tóo, making the séquences feel like pIaceholders for real animatión that never éventuated. Its all á bit childish, reaIly, and features thé worst approximation óf a foreign accént since Christopher Lambért tried to sóund like a Scótsman in Highlander.
